PALMER E. “Tripp” Huffstetler III, managing partner
Palmer E. "Tripp" Huffstetler, III joined the practice in 2014. Mr. Huffstetler is a third generation attorney and has always been drawn to the legal practice. Mr. Huffstetler became a partner in 2017, and became managing partner in 2018. The firm name was changed from Sosna Law Offices, PLLC to Sosna & Huffstetler Law Offices, PLLC in January 2021.
Mr. Huffstetler graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2011 with a degree in philosophy and political science. Following his undergraduate studies, Mr. Huffstetler enrolled at Campbell University's School of Law in Raleigh, NC.
During his time at Campbell, Mr. Huffstetler completed internships with the Wake County Magistrate's Office, North Carolina District Court, North Carolina Superior Court, and also with the Wake County District Attorney's Office. Mr. Huffstetler served as a senior staff writer and ethics contributor for Campbell Law Observer.
After graduating from Campbell Law in May 2014, Mr. Huffstetler was admitted to the North Carolina State bar in August 2014. Since joining the firm, Mr. Huffstetler has assisted and represented thousands of folks in filing Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 bankruptcy.
Mr. Huffstetler is a board-certified specialist in business and consumer bankruptcy law.
